Established in 1998, Doherty Hungary Kft is a specialist producer of spindles and electric motor shafts for the domestic appliance, automotive and power tool industries. Doherty Hungary has an engaging history, with 80 years of manufacturing experience to draw on. We believe in using the latest technology and innovative thinking to provide competitive solutions for our customers.
Situated in the south-east of Hungary, in Oroshaza, we are just 2 hours south of Budapest with excellent road networks to the rest of Europe.
The company has grown from 10 employees in the first trading month, which was November 1998, to the current workforce today of 200. To accommodate this growth, in 2013 we extended our Production Facilities and now have 4500sqm of factory space, including refurbished offices, a new Quality Assurance centre and our award-winning Production Hall.
